Contact Call Operator

Destiny Rescue Australia is seeking a passionate and skilled telephone expert with a gift for building strong, meaningful relationships. In this role, you'll use your talents to connect with corporations, churches, and mid-tier donors, directly supporting our mission to rescue children from trafficking and abuse. This is a Full-time opportunity based in our head office on the Sunshine Coast. The position reports to the Marketing Team Leader.

About you

The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and attributes:

• At least 12 months experience in a similar fundraising or contact centre role.
• Experience using Salesforce (or other customer relationship management databases), and other platforms.
• Mailchimp (or other email platform) experience is highly desirable.
• Can build rapport and relationships with a wide range of customers and stakeholders.
• Are self-motivated, and can work independently to meet KPI's.
• Able to confidently speak over the phone and comfortable asking for donations.

About the Role

This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful impact by engaging our supporter base to build donor loyalty.

• Build sustainable relationships and engage donors by going the extra mile.
• Actively engage with churches to create opportunities for impactful Church Partnerships.
• Manage inbound and outbound calls in a timely manner.
• Follow communication “scripts” when handling different topics.
• Identify donors’ needs, clarify information, research every issue and provide solutions and/or alternatives.
• Keep records of all conversations in our Salesforce database in a comprehensible way.

• Contribute to achieving fundraising targets during appeals campaigns and fundraising events.

• Meet personal/team qualitative and quantitative targets. 
• Ensure donor information systems and records are current.
